My Design Practice
Alien & Bear represents my solo design practice established in Aug 2023. After years crafting digital experiences at scale, I wanted to apply my expertise in a more focused way—working directly with select clients on projects where I could demonstrate the power of integrated design systems.
This practice became my laboratory for refining approaches to visual language, interaction patterns, and product design as interconnected parts of a cohesive system. The results were measurable: increased user engagement, stronger brand recognition, and streamlined implementation.
The name represents the balance I bring to every project—the alien perspective that sees possibilities others miss, paired with the bear's methodical craft and attention to detail. It's this combination that makes design powerful: the bear's storytelling brings heart, while the alien's technical approach provides structure.
